The deadline for exhibitor applications (31 October) approaches!

Applications to exhibit at the 2024 International Welding Show (31 October), Japan’s largest exhibition specialising in welding, joining and cutting technology, are fast approaching.

This will be the 27th edition of the show since its inception in 1969. During that time, the show has consistently played a leading role in responding to the demands of industry by encouraging technological innovation based on the themes of the respective historical backgrounds. This year’s theme is “New Trends in Welding, Joining and Cutting Connecting People, Culture and Technology – Contributing to Environmental Load Reduction and DX through Weld-Being”, and aims to establish a business platform by gathering the world’s most advanced technologies, products and information.

This year’s show will be held in Osaka for the first time in eight years, following the Corona Disaster, with the main concepts of further development of the welding industry and business matching between exhibitors and visitors. The show will cover a wide range of fields, from welding and cutting to laser processing, micro joining, powder processing, thermal spraying, surface modification, non-destructive testing, the popular 3D printer DX, IoT and AI, making it a major event where all welding-related technologies, products and information will be intensively developed.

In addition, the Laser Processing Forum and the 3D Printer Forum are two major forums that are new to the exhibition and lectures, and technical seminars are held to present the latest technological trends in the shipbuilding, automotive and steel frame industries, non-destructive testing and coatings, and also as a venue for exhibitors’ presentations. In addition to the trend seminars and the “Welding and Joining Fun Pavilion” as a special event, and the special tour to introduce the welding industry to high school students, the Spring National Convention of the Japan Welding Society and the Asian Welding Federation events to attract visitors not only from Japan but also from Asia will be held in conjunction with the show. The combination of seminars, events and related events is designed to attract visitors from Asia as well as from Japan.

We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition!
